T-Rex has an immediate and exciting opportunity to build, support and operate a large-scale archiving management system for the National Archives and records Administration (NARA) entitled the Electronic Records Archive (ERA) system. ERA will authentically preserve and provide appropriate access to any kind of federally managed electronic record of our nation's history, free from dependence on any specific hardware or software.
You will help T-Rex and its customers build, test and deliver a system that address and solves the dilemma of preserving and accessing electronic records that are complex by nature, diverse in format and exponentially increasing in volume. As a member of the ERA team, you will play a critical role in the success of the ERA mission and have the opportunity to participate in a collaborative large-project environment.

- Prior experience with hands-on software integration experience with software-intensive systems
- Familiarity with the Java development language
- Current hands-on experience with Windows and Linux environments
- Prior experience with COTS product integration
- Experience with full lifecycle product testing experience with multi-tier system
- Experience with test procedure development
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work well on a tea

- Knowledge of WebLogic, Alfresco, Oracle, and SQL is a plus
- Knowledge of Orbeon, MarkLogic, and Vivisimo products is a plus
- System level expertise to evaluate, analyze, redesign, implement, and troubleshoot stability and performance

| Duties & Responsibilities |

As a Software Integration Tester on the NARA ERA program, you will augment an existing team responsible for the integration of software and COTS products through system thread, back-end and test procedures execution, including debugging and analysis of issues to determine root cause. You will provide resolution of system integration issues as well as support required training or system owner support. You will also be responsible for test approach and test procedure development to meet system requirements and other tasks as required. In addition, you will work to ensure integration activities are satisfying program needs. You will use your working knowledge of Java software to effectively analyze and debug system issues with the software development team.
