T-Rex Tapped to Assist on Lockheed IRS Program

Arlington, VA (1999) - T-Rex Consulting Corp. accepted an engagement to provide software development and integrated document imaging support on a Lockheed Martin Mission Systems program to help the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) process paper tax returns and payments faster and more accurately. The solution, named Integrated Submission & Remittance Processing (ISRP) system, is made up of a variety of off-the-shelf products and commercial technology and will soon be deployed to Internal Revenue Service tax service centers. ISRP is capable of processing 250,000 tax returns and 130,000 tax payments per day at each site, and gives IRS managers new capabilities for managing workflow at tax centers.
