T-Rex Awarded NGI Subcontract.

Reston, VA (July 2008) - T-Rex Corporation was awarded a contract to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Next Generation Identification (NGI) program. T-Rex will assist with the development and system/network setup and administration of a state of the art FBI Biometric Identification System. The system will be the world's largest computer database of peoples' physical characteristics, and will allow law enforcement authorities around the world to rely on iris patterns, face-shape data, scars, and various other items to solve crimes and identify criminals and terrorists. This program is a multi-year effort to reduce terrorist and criminal activities by improving and expanding biometric identification and criminal history information services through research, evaluation and implementation of advanced technology.
