T-Rex Receives HUBZone Certification

Reston, VA (March 1, 2010) - T-Rex Corporation announced today that the company has been granted a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) certification by the Small Business Administration (SBA).  In 2009 T-Rex opened a data processing center in Central Virginia where they have built and now operate a document imaging and management system used to process over 250,000 real estate documents per month.  This data processing center is located in a HUBZone allowing T-Rex to qualify for the HUBZone program.

"The application process was challenging and took 10 months to complete.  We have remained committed to the program throughout the application process and we will remain committed as we continue to expand our data processing services."

The HUBZone program provides federal contracting assistance for qualified small businesses located in HUBZones. The law was created in an effort to increase employment opportunities, private investment, and economic development in areas, long neglected as potential business sites.
